Why should I give to the TBK Foundation?

The High Holy Days caused us to reflect on our past and our future.

Our concern for our future has led to the establishment of the Temple Brith Kodesh Foundation which is building an endowment to assure that TBK will always have the financial resources to nurture and nourish Judaism in Rochester.

We ask every member of our Congregation to help make this vision a reality by participating in the Temple Brith Kodesh Legacy Circle. It doesn't necessarily take a large sum of money to make a big difference.

Please call Debbie Zeger, TBK Director of Development at 244-7060 to explore the many options for planned giving to Temple B'rith Kodesh.

The TBK Foundation Legacy Circle

Have you stopped to think where Temple B'rith Kodesh would be without the support and donations of those who came before us?

Our predecessors could not have known the specific needs of the temple as it would evolve, but trusted that their gifts would provide for the spiritual, education and programmatic needs of the congregation as well as its facilities. They knew that their gifts would be used to perpetuate our Jewish faith and tradition for generations to come.

You can do the same for future generations by becoming a charter member of the Temple B'rith Kodesh Foundation's new Legacy Circle.

The TBK Foundation Legacy Circle has been established to recognize those who have made a commitment to the temple's future by including the TBK Foundation in their estate plans, whether through bequests, life insurance policies or retirement plans.

As a member, with your permission, your name will appear on our honored donor list and you will receive Foundation updates as well as invitations to Legacy Circle events. Our inaugural event is planned for the spring of 2010; details will be forthcoming.

Simply sign a non-binding letter of intent to join the Legacy Circle. You can make arrangements by calling Debbie Zeger, Director of Development at Temple B'rith Kodesh, 244-7060 ext. 229.

If you have already included the Temple B'rith Kodesh Foundation in your estate plans please let us know so we can appropriately recognize you. Please note that the Temple B'rith Kodesh Foundation must be named as the beneficiary if you wish the corpus of your gift endowed in perpetuity.

Thank you for your past support of Temple B'rith Kodesh. We look forward to welcoming you to the TBK Foundation Legacy Circle.
