Tempro, the Temple B'rith Kodesh project started years ago to house the temporarily homeless and progressing to supportive housing for those leaving abusive situations or dealing with other mental health issues, it's president Richard Rosen and all of the TBK members on the Board. Tempro received the Elmer Louis Award for Outstanding Programs in the Rochester Community from the Jewish Community Federation.

Andrew Graff, Brighton High School Varsity Baseball captain, who received the Most Valuable Player Award. Andrew heads to SUNY Oswego in the fall.

Jacob Stock, named to the dean's list at the University of Pennsylvania.

All of our TBK High School graduates - our best wishes as they move on to the next phase of their lives: Sophie Beckerman, Gabriel Blumenstock, Daniel Bobry, Avi Bodek, Alana Bowen, Rachel Broser, Jennifer Bulin, Megan Carson, Marlee Finestone, Benjamin Fogal, Michelle Forman Ashley Fox, Brian Gordon, Andrew Graff, Max Greene, Tal Haring, Hannah Hellman, Matthew Honickman, Stephanie Krusch, Matthew McArdle, James Messing, Saroyah Mevorach, Alex Mink, Michael Moranz, Shaina Pierce, Rebecca Rabinowitz, Lillian Rosen, Mikhail Shapiro, Kevin Stone, William Sugarman, Jane Taschman, Daphne Topel-Samek, Diana Tubman, Daniel Underberg (selected graduation speaker and will attend Williams College in the fall.) and Alex Yudelson.

College graduates Rachel Chess, who graduated from the University of Rochester and Steven Cohn, who graduated from SUNY Alfred.

Barbara Festenstein, was honored for 15 years of volunteer service by the Brighton Memorial Library.

Jackie Stricker on the birth of her first great-grandson, Elliot Chester Zysman, on December 16, 2009. Elliot is the son of Debbie Zysman and Dan Gluck who live in Honolulu, HI.

Barbara and Daryl Stadtmiller on the birth of their granddaughter, Kaila Francesca Libert, on July 7, 2010. Kaila is the daughter of Melissa and Carl Libert and joins big brother Blake in Hacketts Town, NJ.

Joanne Mabb, who's grandson, Evan Affronti, received the Coaches Choice Award for Penfield Little League Baseball
