A Joyous Fundraiser for our Temple

Stretch out your 4th of July celebration by attending the TBK's Summer Fundraising Concert at TBK!

The RPO@TBK summer fundraising concert has become a steadfast tradition at TBK over the past 15 years. In addition to being a wonderful and enjoyable event, it serves as one of the temple's premier fundraising events, according to TBK Fundraising Chair Sue Lococo.

We are pleased to announce that this year's concert will feature conductor Jeff Tyzik.

Tickets for the concert start at $20 per person ($25 at the door) at the Patriotic level. Those able to support the temple at a higher level will receive reserved seating at the Stars & Stripes level for $50 per ticket. The Fireworks level also offers reserved seating and 2 tickets for $180. Preferred seating will be offered to Founders at $360 for 2 tickets and Underwriters at $1,000 + for 6 tickets.

Tickets can be purchased and/or donations made through the Temple B'rith Kodesh office at 2131 Elmwood Avenue or by calling (585) 244-7060, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays thru Thursdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays.

Christen Greer
A senior at Summit Christian Academy, Christen Greer lives in Brighton and plans to pursue violin performance in college. She currently studies with Zvi Zeitlin, Distinguished Professor of Violin at the Eastman School of Music. In addition to the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and RPYO Chamber Orchestra, Christy has been active in various other orchestras and performing ensembles such as the Lyric Chorale and Finger Lakes Chorale Orchestras, EPG Film Productions Orchestra, and the Equinox Symphony Orchestra.

Demian Spindler
Sixteen year-old trumpet player Demian Spindler is an 11th grader at Allendale Columbia School. Demian studies with RPO trumpeter Wesley Nance at the Eastman Community Music School, where he is a scholarship student in the Diploma program. He is a member of the Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra and Eastman's Trumpet Ensemble. He won first place in the Rochester Philharmonic League Young Artist Awards last spring, as well as placing third in the 2009 National Trumpet Competition.
