Young Artist Auditions Special Award Winner

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Temple B'rith Kodesh for our annual RPO@TBK Summer Fundraiser. After a two-year absence, Jeff Tyzik will return to TBK to conduct this special concert. As always, this will be a full program, containing a variety of music.

The evening will also include the fun activities we've all grown to expect...a silent auction and raffle with prizes donated by local and national businesses and a 50/50 raffle. After the concert, please join us in the Atrium for a dessert reception

The winners of the annual Rochester Philharmonic League (RPL) Young Artist Auditions have been announced, and the top prize (Special Award) went to pianist Benjamin Hopkins of Rochester, a senior at the School of the Arts. All the top prizewinners in five individual categories competed for the Special Award. Hopkins won the top prize in two additional categories: the Ness Award for piano and the Aldridge-Tinker Instrumental Scholarship.
