Illness & Health
Rabbis visiting the sick, a core Jewish practice called Bikur Cholim, involves offering spiritual support, practical help, and companionship, emulating God's care for the ill, and aims to ease suffering through presence, prayer, and emotional comfort.
When you are dealing with times of illness and healing, your TBK family is here to provide pastoral care as well as practical support.
If you or a family member are in the hospital and would like a visit, please let us know. The hospitals are not allowed to provide us with that information, so we rely on you. In addition, you may receive a phone call from a member of our Caring Community Committee to ask if they can bring meals, help with rides or perform other tasks.
Whether you have questions or need support, please reach out by completing the brief form below.
